At one of its distribution centers for refrigerated and frozen foods, Colruyt was using four rented 40ft refrigerated containers that relied on Freon-based cooling systems, harmful to the environment.
Colruyt was aiming for a sustainable alternative and turned to us for a long-term solution. Their request was for four 40ft refrigerated containers equipped with Carrier Naturaline cooling units, which operate on CO₂ refrigerant instead of traditional Freon gases.
